Good Afternoon Parents and Families! Happy New Year! I hope you all had a nice restful two weeks off to relax and spend time with your families! I know I loved spending so much extra time with Sawyer :) Here is a picture of her playing in the water on our vacation!

Reading: the story elements of a fiction story such as plot, characters, climax, and solution
Writing: what the genre of fantasy entails
Science: the different systems in our bodies
Social Studies: and researching about an explorer of our choosing to present to the class

Thursday: HomeLink 4-4
And your reading log will be due on Monday, January 11!

Next week begins our winter NWEA testing! We take our reading test on Tuesday! Please make sure your child is at school and gets plenty of sleep so they can perform at their very best!
